About the role
This Support Coordinator, Disability provides person-centred NDIS support coordination (Level 2) and capacity building services to NDIS participants of all ages and backgrounds. You will support participants to build their understanding of the NDIS and their ability to implement their NDIS plan, as well as facilitate their progress towards individual goals.
About You
You will be someone who may have lived and/or professional experience with disability and/or health conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neuromuscular disease, autism and psychological/psychiatric conditions. Your sensitive approach and understanding of person-centred approaches and principles of inclusion will be important to this role.
You will have:
- Prior experience in coordinating care (desirable)
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage your time effectively in order to meet time-based output targets
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office suite and capability to learn and use cloud-based software
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence
- A current DHS Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain at your own cost prior to commencement of employment
- Relevant qualifications in disability, health, social or psychological sciences are not essential but would be of benefit.

Location
This role is based at Bowden just a short walk to the popular Plant 3 and Plant 4 entertainment complex in Gibson Street however some off-site work will be required.
