Rhonda Jane is a registered NDIS provider established in 2018. Our staff have substantial experience in the disability, aged care and family violence sector and we strive to make a participants NDIS journey individualised and a positive experience. Positions are available for Part Time to Full Time Subcontractors or Salaried position with above award rates and sign on bonus (Schads Level 3 - 4 Salaried Position & $70+ per hour Subcontractors). We have a friendly team culture and work from home and/or office options.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in NDIS support coordination, NDIS Planner or LAC Role, or similar role with proven excellent understanding of support co-ordinators role and NDIS sector; or an explanation of lived experience and how this relates to the role.
- Required for the role is Relevant Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma) or experience in one or more from the following: Support Coordination, LAC, NDIA Planner, Disability Support Worker, Mental Health Worker, Welfare Worker, Social Worker or Allied Health Professional.
- Ability to directly service participants living in South West Victoria areas of Warrnambool, Hamilton, Terang, Portland, Timboon and Port Fairy.
- Must have ABN and purchase professional indemnity and public liability insurances (Sub Contractors)
- Provision of workers clearances, eg. National Police Certificate, WWCC, DWES, NDIS workers Clearance
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations
- Drivers licence insured, reliable car (preferable, not essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Honest and transparent and willing to access external supervision if requested
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supporting participants to become more independent and encouraging them to achieve their goals.
- Focus on positive outcomes
- Prioritise, manage and administer a caseload/tasks in a coordinated, efficient and timely manner
- Bill for all supports provided to ensure payment for supports delivered
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other Disability services and mental Health services, other non-government agencies and the NDIA
- Ensure that information on relevant community resources is available to clients and that appropriate referrals are made and followed up.
- Maintain and monitor client budgets within NDIS funding guidelines.
