We are looking for Support Officers to deliver a range of customer services and respond to general enquiries for an established government department.
- Contract until the end of June 2024 with possible extension.
- Hourly pay rate of $32.35 per hour plus Super
- Work location: Wollongong.
- 7 hours per day. 35 hours per week.
You will deliver a range of customer services and responds to general enquiries from parents, schools, contractors, and Officers to assist in the achievement of outstanding outcomes for the business unit. The role forms part of a broader team that provides an efficient, effective, and safe transport service to students with disability for government and non-government schools across New South Wales.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform a range of customer services such as processing of student, driver, applications, payroll, and compliance related tasks to support the operational functioning of the Program.
- Respond to general enquiries such as student eligibility, payroll, child protection, transport runs, in a confidential, responsive, customer-focused manner.
- Provide a range of administrative, keyboard and clerical support services to support the operational functioning of the assigned business unit.
- Administration support services may include filing and records management, receipt and sorting of electronic and other mail, maintenance of official registers and documents, scanning and copying documents, compilation of manuals and reports, reception duties and preparing meeting papers and venues.
- Identify areas for improvement in administrative support and implement required changes to improve the work of the directorate.
