Support Worker

I am a male in my 40’s and I have 2 dogs that I love spending time with, and I walk them every day.

I like physical exercise and work out 5 times a week,

I also enjoy woodwork and attend 2 woodwork and a resin class weekly.

I also enjoy fishing, bowling and cooking.

I am looking for someone to help me with my everyday activities. Knowledge and experience around supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) would be preferable; however, if you are an outgoing and resilient person with good communication skills and empathy, I think you would be able to learn a lot from me about TBI’s. I am looking for someone who has English as a first language but not mandatory, and with good availability on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Essential Qualities and Experience. 

• A valid Driver’s License
• A reliable vehicle with comprehensive Insurance 
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one. 
• Current First Aid, or willingness to obtain one. 
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills.
