Your role will be diverse and challenging and will involve direct care for clients in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation.Your daily tasks can include:Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needsAdministering medicationTransporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments. Our dedicated educational and development pathway leads you towards relevant industry qualifications:Start with completing a paid 5-day Induction program including the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) course delivered by the nationally accredited provider.Continue your journey with a paid 6-month probationary training program to help you develop your skills while you work.During your probation training, you will benefit from:Mentor supportReceive all day, all hour on-call supportFollowing the successful completion of the probationary period, you can enrol in a CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services with our partnered RTO BIAE (RTO no 45241). Once enrolled you may receive up to 8 units of credit based on the satisfactorily completion of the induction requirements and your performance during probation.Rates for this role commence at SCHADS Level2 Paypoint1.
