About The Role
Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Housing Assessor to work within our Operations Division from July 2024 for 12 months.
The role involves conducting a holistic evaluation of Scope's portfolio of SIL services. This evaluation considers how the physical environment, residents' support needs and dynamics, and service delivery impact resident well-being, safety, quality of life, and compatibility.
The SIL Housing Assessor ensures that the houses meet the needs of current and future residents in all aspects, with a focus on providing a comprehensive and integrated approach to assessment and identifying solutions to issues raised from the assessment.
About You
Previous experience working within the Supported Independent Living environment as well as leading, managing and coaching frontline teams is required.
An understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and Safeguarding Framework is essential and awareness of NDIS SDA design guidelines, and the Australian Standard - Design for access and mobility is desirable.
To be successful in this role you must have strong problem solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to critically analyse issues and develop effective solutions.
