The Position
In line with continued growth, they now seek a Sustainability Coordinator to join their team to work closely with the Sustainability Manager, to focus on the coordination and delivery of their sustainability initiatives.
Principal activities will include:
- Measuring the baseline sustainability performance
- Supporting, and developing sustainability targets
- Researching and assisting with the management of sustainability initiatives
- Monitor the payback of improvements across the business
- Maintain sustainability data
- Support and maintain the company’s sustainability framework
- Identify other areas of sustainability improvement including but not limited to community, waste, water, ecosystems, customer experience and recruitment
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following key background, skills, and key attributes:
- Experience and or high levels of interest in sustainability
- Knowledge of sustainable best practices as they pertain to the agriculture industry, business and communities
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong analytical, writing and documentation skills
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, concise and assessable manner
- Ability to think critically, problem solve and trouble shoot issues
- High level organisation skills
- Ability to work strategically, collaboratively and in a timely manner with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders
- Advanced computer literacy and data processing skills
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field will be highly regarded
