About us

Australian Food & Fibre (AFF) is a large-scale agricultural business that combines significant knowledge and expertise to produce, process and supply quality Australian cotton to the world, as well as cereals, pulses and oil seeds. Our operations are located across New South Wales and have been built on significant industry knowledge, experience and expertise. 

About the role

Situated in either our Moree head office or Sydney office, this role will work collaboratively with external stakeholders, internal divisions and functional teams to deliver on sustainability projects and environmental regulatory compliance. This role will be a driving force behind championing AFF’s sustainable cotton brand, and fuelling growth. This is a pivotal role in developing strong brand propositions and identities, contributing to brand saliency and growth. See role description here.

About you

You will hold a relevant degree, related postgraduate qualification and/or commensurate experience managing environmental compliance at a corporate level. Additionally, you will ideally have;

  • Demonstrated experience in Environmental and/or Sustainability related roles and implementation of compliance and / or certification programs.
  • Experience building and implementing enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Experience working with and reporting to environmental regulatory bodies.
  • Experience and knowledge of sustainability principles, frameworks and practice, including Environment, Social and Governance disclosure frameworks such as SASB, TFCD and GRI.
  • Experience with NGER and Modern Slavery reporting.
  • Previous experience in agriculture is preferred but not essential.
