About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and motivated student with a strong interest in sustainability. This role will support the Sustainability Manager in the implementation and management of the environmental, social and governance framework and strategy throughout the organisation.This is a part-time position based on a 15-hour work week located in our Townsville Head Office. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment, perfect for a student looking to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
About You- Currently undertaking Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Environmental Management or similar (desired)
- Experience in internal communications, marketing or a related field (desired)
- Sound communication skills both written and interpersonal
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Ability to self-manage and work as part of a wider team
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Canva or similar graphic design tool
- A general understanding and interest in core sustainability topics including the roles of mitigation and adaption in regard to Climate Change
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
