The Allianz Australia Limited (AAL) Group Sustainability function are currently seeking a Sustainability Operations Manager to engage and align key stakeholders across our business units, track and monitor performance of initiatives and develop robust management reporting, to support the success of our Group sustainability strategy. This role will assist in driving sustainable outcomes aligned to business strategy and the use innovation and collaboration to identify opportunities and solve challenges.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting in the coordination of the sustainability strategy and operational cadence across the Allianz Australia.
- Driving and coordinating divisional action plans, sustainability subcommittee activities, executive updates, and key projects aligned with the sustainability strategy.
- Establishing reporting and monitoring on key sustainability initiatives and action plans.
- Key contributor to substantiality strategy development and board and executive updates.
- Managing and acting as secretary for the sustainability subcommittee, including agenda management, paper review, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Collaborating with the Sustainability Analytics team to interpret reports, generate insights, identify systemic issues, and drive actions across the business to improve social outcomes and identify business opportunities.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, social sciences, or a similar field, or significant relevant experience.
- Experience in leading organizational change and transformation, project management within a complex and heavily regulated medium to large organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant social, regulatory, and legislative compliance expectations impacting the organization.
- A passion for making a difference for people across our employees, customers, and communities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, influence, and the ability to lead and grow within the team.
