City Venue Management is a facility management company managing Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs stretching from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast, we currently operate 35 sites across Queensland and continue to grow and develop with each passing day. What are we looking for?

Rackley Swimming is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Swim School Manager to join one of our amazing Swim Schools in the Gold Coast. This person will have the opportunity to collaborate with a large team and be part of one of QLD largest Swim School Brands.

The Role:

Our Swim School Managers are responsible for Coordinating the Swim School program in our venues to optimise commercial return & customer experience. You will be a key player in our customers’ journey & will need to take pride in operating such an important community asset.

  • Effective, candid communication skills.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • The ability to delegate, empower and engage staff.
  • Strong customer service skills and an understanding that the customer experience is paramount.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to translate that into action.
  • Knowledge of financial management and reporting
  • The ability to self-start and to have the conviction to take responsibility when in charge of the venue.
  • Proficient multitasker, working well under pressure.
  • Ability to ensure the safety, health and well-being of customers.

Essential Qualifications (or willing to obtain):

  • Current Blue Card (Working with children check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment
  • Swim Teaching Qualification (essential)
  • Current CPR (must be obtained within 6 weeks of starting)

We have in-house trainers to run these courses and provide discounted rates for all employees.
