This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and oversee the IT infrastructure of an organization with its own data center and seven distinct locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Windows servers, cloud technology, and the ability to work hands-on with technology and end-users alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Center and Multi-Site Management: Oversee and maintain the organization's data center and IT infrastructure across seven locations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Expertise in Windows Servers: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows server environments, ensuring efficient and secure operations.
Cloud Technology Proficiency: Manage and optimize cloud-based services and infrastructure, demonstrating expertise in platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Hands-On Technical Support: Provide direct technical support to end-users, addressing both hardware and software issues with a customer-focused approach.
Governance and Compliance: Implement and maintain IT governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Network Performance Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance network performance, identifying and implementing strategies for improvement and efficiency.
Ability to pivot in a small team and support development, relocations, and ad hoc projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a strong background in managing Windows server environments and cloud technologies.
Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on technical support and effectively communicate with end-users.
Experience in implementing IT governance and improving network performance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Relevant certifications in Windows server administration, cloud services, and other related fields are desirable.
