The IT Service Desk Lead recruited will be responsible for providing their customers with high quality technical support as leading 5 junior technicians. You will be working closely with other IT business functions to help maintain all day-to-day business administration and support of the IT infrastructure. This role offers working flexibility to work from home and in the office up to 1-2 days a week as well as a competitive salary.

THE ROLE

The IT Team Lead recruited will oversee managing the Australian corporate IT network and be responsible to 5 junior technicians. The role includes supporting the software, networks servers and infrastructure. The role will include hardware builds as well as vendor management.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the Australian corporate IT environment
• Troubleshoot, install, configure, build, maintain, and secure physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Maintain and update IT operations procedural documents including server installation and configuration details, backup strategies, network diagrams and server and PC patch upgrades.
• Assist the Director of IT with procurement by specifying network hardware and software and obtaining vendor quotes.

YOUR PROFILE

This role would be the right fit for an enthusiastic individual who has experience being a Wintel administrator with broad IT infrastructure experience.

The following is required:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar operations-based role in a Microsoft AD network environment.
• At least 2 years' experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint.
• In depth technical knowledge of PC and server hardware and operating systems, in particular Windows server.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Displays willingness to learn, Resilience and motivated.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
