Job Details:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing technical team in Watsons Bay, Sydney. This permanent, ongoing position will use your proven experience to support simulation systems for the Royal Australian Navy.
After extensive on-site training, your primary role will be to support warfighting training and provide system-level support as required.
This role is well suited to transitioning military-technical or operational personnel interested in pivoting to the tech sector or recent IT graduates with a security clearance looking to break into the defence sector.
Skills and experience:
· Solid understanding of IT Fundamentals;
· System Administration experience;
· Enjoys and has a methodical approach to problem-solving;
· Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems;
· Good personal and professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and
· Ideally has a background in simulation systems or exposure to the Defence industry.
Must hold a Defence Security Clearance and satisfy ITAR requirements.
