About the role
A Systems Analyst is a crucial asset to support the infrastructure and assist in support of first-line support of Dual Chelate Fertilizer Pty Ltd Australia with IT system-related functions and automation.
This role will work closely with the ICT team to support the enablement of systems and services supporting the organisation's operations and service delivery. This role is site based at our Robinvale site in Victoria, ensuring all the IT Infrastructure and the day-to-day systems are running efficiently and effectively.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Finding, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices.
- Formalising with users to formulate and document business requirements in collaboration with users.
- Classifying and assessing inadequacies, recommending ideal business practices and system functionality and performance.
- Using project management methodologies, ideas and methods to develop challenge plans and cost valuable resources and manipulate initiatives.
- Creating user and training documentation and conducting formal training classes.
- Operating data and process modelling techniques to create precise system specifications for the design and improvement of system software.
- Acting as a central reference and information source, imparting training and helping in the system project decision-making procedure.
- Designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures.
- Ensuring that the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks.
- Sound business and systems experience with a willingness to ask questions and challenge assumptions. Knowledge of ERP processes and data modelling will be highly regarded.
- Sound technical experience interrogating and analysing data.
- Be the conduit between our external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail is essential to support documentation and implementation activities.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to actively participate in the focus group, workshops and client interviews.
- A Bachelor of Science in this field is required.
- At least two years of experience in the Systems Analyst role or similar is essential.
- Expertise in SQL, Windows 10, Mac OS, MS Office Suites 2019 within O365, Teams & SharePoint Online.
- A strong focus on quality and great attention to detail.
- Excellent personal presentation and strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Impressive problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Salary starting from $54,000 + Superannuation.
