Form of workWe are seeking two seasoned Systems Engineers with robust technical writing skills to assist our client as they ramp up activity on a new Acquisition program in Western Australia.
The primary responsibility of this role involves the development of documentation and the establishment of plans for Systems Engineering. Candidates with a Naval background are sought after. However, individuals with experience in Land and Aero contracts are also encouraged to apply.
The initial contract duration is 3 months, concluding in June. Extensions will be contingent upon demand as of June, considering the dynamic nature of the program's requirements.
While Western Australia is preferred, we are also extending this opportunity to candidates in Melbourne and Adelaide who are interested in remote work, given the short turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) within designated time frame
- Performing system level analysis activities including design studies.
- Developing system level design documentation.
- Providing technical oversite to the development of engineering artefacts
- Working collaboratively within a team to provide solutions to complex technical issues.
- Supervising engineering requirements and mitigating risks.
Skills
- Relevant degree at tertiary level in an Engineering discipline
- Over 10 years' experience working as a technical leader in engineering organisations
- Extensive Defence Systems Engineering lifecycle and management experience
- Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation including; SEMP and system level design documentation
- Knowledge of CASG project documentation standards
