Systems Engineer

Sharp and Carter is proud to be assisting a people first organisation based in Fortitude Valley to recruit a Systems Engineer. This is a newly created position reporting directly into the COO who comes from an impressive IT background and understands the importance of cutting edge technology within the business.

About the role:

• Configuration, maintenance and Strong troubleshooting skills across a range of products, including Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, MS Office, MS Teams, Intune, MS Endpoint and Systems security
• Providing technical leadership and planning on solutions and process improvements
• Providing support and configuration for staff applications and services
• Examining and resolving issues, documenting procedures for resolution, and adhering to change protocols
• Support website and SharePoint development
• Acting as an escalation point from IT Support Officer
• Ensure systems are maintained to the highest level, including testing and implementation of software updates and functional enhancements
• Deploy and configure devices/ Windows 11 laptops as required
• Good understanding of VLANs and WIFI and troubleshooting skills

About You:

• At least 5 years' experience in IT roles, with at least two years' experience in a Systems Engineer role
• Microsoft Certifications will be highly regarded
• Salesforce administration experience will be highly regarded
• API and configuring integration with SaaS environments
• Knowledgeable in writing and implementing processes
• Displays an understanding of business priorities, risks and opportunities
• Demonstrates sound problem-solving skills to achieve positive business outcomes
• Highly collaborative and organised; able to prioritise tasks & manage multiple priorities
