The Opportunity
Reporting to the Application Delivery Manager, this role sits within a close-knit team who are passionate and focussed on delivering technical capabilities to our people and clients.
You will be responsible for managing Insignia Financials' Citrix environments, overseeing virtual apps, desktops, PVS, Storefront, and NetScaler Gateways. You will also handle Core Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Citrix-related components.
Your duties will include ensuring the security of the Citrix environment, configuring access policies, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with end-users and vendors. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing the packaging and deployment of business applications in Citrix XenDesktop, coordinating approvals with business units, and actively monitoring for potential issues.
Your role will also involve maintaining comprehensive documentation on IFL Citrix environments, encompassing configuration, installation, and troubleshooting procedures.
What we look for in a successful candidate:
First and foremost, essential qualifications include a Tertiary degree in IT or relevant work experience, accompanied by Citrix certifications. With proven experience in Citrix operational support, you should be knowledgeable in Citrix technologies like NetScaler, XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud.
It would be great if you also have experience in Active Directory, OS technologies, and Group Policy Management, along with proficiency in VMware vCenter Virtualization, application layering, and packaging. Your background should encompass managing virtualized environments, including server provisioning and monitoring using top-tier management tools.
Last but not least the role requires exceptional communication and customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail. Your expertise should extend to a diverse technical environment, demonstrating strong written documentation and verbal communication abilities to engage with both technical and business stakeholders across the organisation.
