About the teamEnd User Computing is responsible for the delivery, ongoing management, and support of end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, thin clients, virtual desktop, mobility devices, telephony, video conferencing, printing, and other platforms such as MS Exchange, SharePoint, SOE Management, and Office 365.The team manage approximately 14,000 endpoints throughout the Support Office, State Office, and Distribution Centres and will include 24x7 Rostered Support. About the roleReporting to the Team Leader of End User Computing, the Systems Engineer will be working across Level 3 support: offering ongoing technical advice to stakeholders and users across the Coles business.You will be an excellent problem solver with the ability to provide ongoing technical expertise and ensure limited down time on any IT issues across the organisation.Key responsibilities include: Resolve technical issues and analyse root causes. Provide technical standards and solutions to meet business needs within technical areas of expertise. Develop detailed technical designs to satisfy business requirements. Perform aspects of implementation and support of infrastructure across the organisation. Provide technical expertise and advice as appropriate to the organisation on Microsoft Product Suites, Client Infrastructure, Security protocols, Mobile Devices and Vendor Support. Create and update documentation as required such as quick reference guides, support documentation; contribute to common fixes and existing knowledge base articles as technology and application features evolve About you and your skills: Previous experience working in a medium to large enterprise environment. To have demonstrated strong technical understanding including Windows. Operating systems, Cisco Web-ex, SCCM, Apple MAC's and iPhones, Citrix, SharePoint, and Exchange, Microsoft 365 - Teams One Drive and Exchange. Commercial experience in designing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-based computing infrastructure in a large-scale, complex, and distributed business environment. Focus on governance and the ability to define clear processes providing technical advice. Technical expertise and advice as appropriate to the organisation on Microsoft Product Suites, Client Infrastructure, Security protocols, Mobile Devices and Vendor Support.
