About the Opportunity:
The LUCAS Restaurants Systems & Network Officer will be responsible for providing expert technical support to the LUCAS head office and all LUCAS venues in a timely manner and as determined by the Technical Services Manger. This role will commence from the 1st of July 2024.
Main Role Responsibilities:
- Setup Logins to all internally used applications according to company standard
- Provide Hardware and basic Network Support for POS, EFT Machines
- Commission new laptops for colleagues per company standards
- Ensure support is provided for all internally used applications/systems and escalate to the respective vendors where required.
- Provide Desktop and Onsite Support to all venues.
- Work alongside the team to identify, monitor and resolve network related issues.
- Work alongside the team to implement new technical strategies (E.g., security improvements)
- Ensure all technical cases worked on are inputted and updated in the IT ticket system
- Be available to answer Emergency calls during and after Business Hours on a rotating roster, as determined by the Technical Services Manager
- Tertiary education in IT Networking/ Systems or similar
- Previous experience in a technical support/ helpdesk role or similar
- Previous experience working with CISCO Meraki Firewalls, HP Switches, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
- Previous experience using a ticketing system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A sense of urgency with an ability to meet critical deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
