The Altara Group is an aviation focused consulting, recruitment and employment services organization and is seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based at our Head office in Melbourne’s inner North.
Working alongside our General Manager of Human Resources you will lead a small team that is responsible for designing and implementing significant end to end recruitment campaigns and strategies predominantly focusing on cabin crew roles. Altara recruits and employees cabin crew for some of Australia’s major airlines across Australia.
We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability and who is able to successfully engage with senior executives, key stakeholders, the candidate market and the wider community to lead our talent acquisition team.
The position
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Play a key role in the develop and design of contemporary talent acquisition strategies and campaigns, including use of social media and other platforms to maximize candidate attraction and retention.
- Manage and deliver major bulk recruitment programs for our major airline clients.
- Implement and manage effective candidate experience initiatives and processes that enhances and promotes the brand values and reputation of the clients we represent.
- Meet and surpass key performance metrics in areas such as successful hire rates and times, retention, compliance and candidate/hiring manager satisfaction
- Develop and maintain high level reporting protocols and processes
- Lead, support and mentor talent acquisition team.
- Ongoing liaison with the key stakeholders on matters relating to attraction and retention strategies along with talent acquisition trends
- Actively participate in and identify opportunities for process improvement
The successful candidates will bring an excellent record of achievement in designing, implementing and delivering highly successful talent acquisition campaigns and recruitment programs. Your breadth of knowledge and passion for contemporary recruitment and candidate experience practices must be highly evident and will be what sets you apart. You will clearly be able demonstrate your ability to build and maintain highly innovative and collaborative partnership with all key clients and stakeholders.
You will be an experienced talent acquisition professional with several years of achievement recruiting preferably within the aviation industry experience.
