We love hiring for growth, and thanks to a promotion in our team, there is an opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join AusNet and support the business by sourcing the best talent, creating an engaging candidate, and hiring manager experience, and promoting our EVP through diverse and inclusive recruitment practices.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners and our neighbouring People teams, this role will also entail project work to balance the operational delivery.
 

If you are currently in a sourcing capacity wanting a more autonomous role; or in a 360-agency role wanting a shift to an internal environment, this role can provide a “big-picture” lens in an end-to-end Talent Acquisition role, within a complex business.
 

With a 3/2 Hybrid split (office/WFH) this role is based in Southbank and is part of the Talent Acquisition team.

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
 

  • End-to-end recruitment delivery, across diverse Technical, Project and Corporate roles
  • Hiring Manager support, such as coaching and equipping leaders with effective and efficient tools that produce positive hiring outcomes
  • Candidate relationship management with a focus on branding, and EVP
  • Active and passive candidate sourcing, selection, and proactive sourcing using a diverse range of platforms
  • Contribution to continuous improvement projects and tasks within the Talent Acquisition team
  • Proficiently and accurately maintaining the ATS (SuccessFactors) to contribute to data quality and accuracy


You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
 

  • Experience in Sourcing/Talent Acquisition within the Energy or a related industry
  • You are comfortable running an end-to-end Talent Acquisition process for multiple, concurrent roles across a wide range of disciplines
  • You have demonstrated success in a candidate facing, or in a 360-role within an RPO, internal talent or agency recruitment environment
  • Well versed in Talent Sourcing principles with an innovative approach to accessing talent within competitive markets and hard-to-fill disciplines
  • Customer-centric approach with demonstrated success in enabling an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience
  • You are a passionate and creative team player with the ability to influence hiring decisions
  • You think outside the box and can effectively navigate through ambiguity
