• $95,890 per annum + Superannuation
• 1 x Ongoing and 1 x Fixed term 12 month opportunity

About the role
The Talent Acquisition team support WorkSafe to attract, engage and hire the right talent for our business, now and into the future. The team do this through understanding hiring needs, candidate attraction, and targeted sourcing initiatives. The team aim to provide candidates and hiring managers with a great recruitment experience end to end and bring a specialist value added service to WorkSafe.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates at WorkSafe. Strategic candidate sourcing, developing candidate pipelines and working with specialised agencies are cornerstones of this role. This role leads the interview process to ensure best practice and provision of first class candidate care. Key accountabilities include:

• Proactively build relationships with Hiring Managers to understand business requirements and achieve recruitment outcomes by providing specialist assistance as a trusted advisor in Talent Acquisition (TA)
• Partner with the HR Business Partners to provide recruitment and on-boarding support and advice to Stakeholders
• Inform, educate and advise managers and employees on the interpretation and application of recruitment and on-boarding policies and process
• Influence compliance with the established recruitment policy and Talent Acquisition strategies

About you
You are an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist and pride yourself on your communication and stakeholder management skills. You enjoy a fast past paced environment and strive to deliver for your Stakeholder cohort. Our ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have:

• Significant experience in a similar role end to end role within Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of best practice selection strategies and behavioural based interviewing and
• Exceptional stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation and the ability to provide expertise and knowledge across a range of disciplines across the organisation.
• Strong positive candidate experience focus
• Ability to interpret, communicate and provide advice on policy or procedure, identify trends and anomalies, and resolve stakeholder issues
• Ability to undertake work that is complex in nature, under limited direction
• Experience interpreting and applying business plans and policies to portfolio of clients
• Demonstrated ability to use a recruitment management systems and leverage technology to attract, source, and hire candidates
