The role will also support the hiring of critical capabilities and hard to fill roles for now and into the future. You’ll leverage strategic talent insights and search capability to strengthen the proactive capacity of the team and build organisational capability for the future.This is an integral leadership role of our Talent Acquisition Partners and you’ll be responsible for developing team capability, contributing to thought leaderships and ongoing professional development to the overall capability of the team.Day-to-day, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end search and recruitment projects of critical role appointments, partnering with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Manage the attraction and sourcing of senior level roles, such as Head of and GM levels.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior leaders across the organisation to understand their commercial objectives and truly understand their talent needs now and into the future.
- Proactively engage with senior employees and external talent to develop succession pools for senior and other critical or hard to fill roles.
- Contribute to thought leadership as a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, supporting the broader team to continuously improve on hiring and attracting practices suited to the shifting market and Transurban’s key objectives.
- Develop capability across the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and search methods that can be applied across a broader range of disciplines and roles.
- Provide regular leadership, mentoring and coaching to your direct reports and to the broader Talent Acquisition team as needed.
- Extensive experience in Executive Search and/or senior leadership roles within an internal Talent Acquisition function. You’ll have demonstrated experience in designing a best-in-class service delivery model, leading and managing end-to-end search assignments, strategic sourcing and talent mapping.
- Extensive experience in designing and delivering a strategy that aligns to overarching Talent Acquisition and People and Culture strategies.
- Leadership capability and experience, specifically leading Talent Partners and Senior Advisors who have significant experience. You have the ability to coach, mentor and upskill team members.
- Demonstrated working experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to effectively capture data and insights.
- Skills in critical thinking, analytical ability and problem solving, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to decisions and recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to share thought leaderships and showcase new perspectives.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, provide purpose and enhance high performing teams.
