Tax Accountant

CBTAX has been established since 2008. We are an accounting and business consultancy firm providing services to clients throughout various industries.
The company is experiencing growth and strengthening their position in the market.
The full-time position will be based in our office at Norwest. 
Reporting to the Partner and working in this broad and varied role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Preparation of Financial Reports for Companies, Trusts & Self-Managed Superfunds (SMSF)
Preparation of Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts & Self-Managed Superfunds (SMSF)
Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) & Instalment Activity Statements
Assist with the SMSF Audit process
Liaise with the clients and key stakeholders
Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients

The ideal candidate should have the following:
Accounting qualifications (CPA, CA or IPA) preferred
Tax Accountant with 3 – 5 years’ experience
Handisoft, Xero and MYOB software experience preferred
Time management skills
Good communication skills
Team player with a positive can-do attitude
Registered Tax Agent License and a member of the Tax Practitioners Board preferred
Hybrid working arrangement is available for suitable candidates.
