St Ambrose Primary school is a two stream co-educational Catholic Primary School with 360 students. The school is seeking to employ a specialist Art teacher who can teacher 40 min lessons to all classes, K - 6. The school has a designated ART room where lessons are conducted. The position is two days a week (Mon & Tues). Whilst initially it is a temporary part time position up until the end of 2024, the postion provides an opportunity for an ongoing contract beyond 2024.

Applicants must:
- hold a current NSW Working with Children Check
- have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
- have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
- able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
- understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
- ability to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment
- have Art Qualificatiuons or a proven ability to teach Art in a Primary School setting
- willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community.
