THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full time and Part time.
Location: Moorabbin and Chadstone campuses.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Appointment is Ongoing, with a 6-month qualifying period.
Be a vital part of the Community and Social Studies department within the esteemed Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies. Our department is at the forefront of delivering courses across the social services spectrum, dedicated to providing top-notch education in both the VET and higher education realms.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. In this role, you’ll work in collaboration with other Teachers for the development of delivery and assessment tools, ensuring top-notch education and training for areas such as Family Violence, Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Counselling, and Housing and Homelessness. Your focus on students' needs and dedication to educational excellence will be paramount as you tailor teaching and learning to suit the diverse requirements of students within our specialized educational setting.
ABOUT YOU
  • An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and
  • Current licences necessary to practice or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association if applicable.
  • Experience in implementing latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.
  • A keen interest in applying contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methods to maximise student learning outcomes.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
