Technology is an inherent part of enabling the Reserve Bank of Australia’s policy and operational objectives. With the country depending upon our systems being secure, highly resilient, and efficient, you will work within the Bank’s Information Technology (IT) department and experience the capability-building opportunity to work with critical technology platforms.
Your team
As the Team Leader for the Finance Systems team, you will be part of the broader high performing and collaborative IT department. Reporting to the HR and Finance Systems Manager, you will lead a team of functional and technical specialists who will be actively working across key Finance initiatives and support.
Your background
You will arrive with proven expertise as a Finance Technology Systems Lead or a similar role. With a primary focus on PeopleSoft and Planning Analytics (TM1), it is preferable for you to have hands-on product solutions experience, as well as experience prioritising work and managing capacity to ensure efficient and effective resource utilisation, optimising solutions, and business engagement. You will also ensure alignment with the Bank's enterprise architecture, security, risk, and IT standards and policies.
To be successful in this critical role you will:
Team leader experience in building high reliability and operating culture and team performance.
Experience across PeopleSoft, TM1, Jira, and ITIL.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with the team and stakeholders.
Proven experience in leading incident, problem, and continuous improvement initiatives for the Finance Systems portfolio.
Demonstrable experience with people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to develop and nurture team members and contribute to the culture of IT and the Bank.
Be an energetic strategic thinker who has considerable attention to detail.
Information Technology or relevant degree qualifications.
