Due to growth, CareSouth are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader (House Manager) to join our new program which provides support in a therapeutic home environment to clients aged 16 and over.
Under the direction of the Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and coordinate the requirements of the team on a day-to-day basis whilst ensuring the provision of services and support to staff and young people in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework.
We are seeking a positive and engaging leader who can demonstrate previous success in dealing with a home care-based model within a Therapeutic Framework Model of care.

The successful applicant will have:Previous experience in a related role.
Tertiary qualifications in Residential Care, Certificate IV in Community Services, Welfare or other related areas. (You may be currently undertaking and/or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of employment)
Proven flexibility, adaptability and ability to respond and adjust easily to changes in work demands.
Demonstrated experience managing a team, including staffing, budget management, reporting and accountability.
Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma and/or neglect and abuse.
Experience working within a Therapeutic Framework model of care.
High level written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma and/or neglect and abuse.
Proven effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation and resolution skills and the ability to provide strong leadership under pressure.
Demonstrated understanding and recent experience in child protection and Residential OOHC Services
