Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to support and develop a team of 45+ passionate community workers who provide a wide range of in-home care services to the elderly around Perth and surrounding regions.
In this role, you’ll drive positive change as you provide coaching, ongoing support, and direction to a geographically dispersed team with the goal of achieving exceptional customer service. You’ll also conduct interviews and inductions for new care workers, manage team and individual performance, handle customer escalations, and drive safety initiatives.
In this permanent full-time role, you'll travel throughout Perth (and occasionally regional areas) to meet with your team and conduct in-field assessments. When you’re not in the community with your team, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience leading large teams (25+ people) within call centre, retail, hospitality, or similar industries.
- Previous experience within the Community/Aged Care industry would be great but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with coaching and performance managing frontline teams.
- Exceptional time management, prioritisation and initiative.
- Strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Leadership plus Training and Assessment are desirable.
