Accounts Receivable/Payable Team Lead  - Full Time

D’Orsogna Limited is a national food manufacturer specialising in the production of smallgoods. 
We are seeking an experienced candidate who has the required skills and experience to join our finance team reporting to the Finance Operations Manager.

The role;

• Assist to train team to ensure there is appropriate back-up and support to cover the AP/AR function for leave and other absences.
• Ensure customer receipts (Debtors) are proactively managed.
• Review, continuously improve and optimise processes and procedures
• Review and approval of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Journals.
• Review and process Commercial Credit and Payment on Delivery Applications
• Complete Daily Cashflow Spreadsheet
• Prepare Bank Journal Uploads
• Perform Bank Reconciliations
• Daily processing and balancing of Customer payments.
• Maintain Credit Card Authorisations Register
• Maintain Dishonoured Payments Register
• Escalate issues, concerns and or other to the Finance Operations Manager
• Other duties as directed by the Finance Operations Manager

Criteria 

• Team oriented- Driven to share learnings and knowledge amongst our team to ensure optimum solutions
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable/Payable Team Lead, preferably within the FMCG environment
• Have the ability to form relationships quickly with key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent.
• Use of ERP and AP systems 
• Strong Microsoft skills including excel and share point. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
