As a Team Leader, this role will lead and encourage a team of Cabin Cleaning Officers in the delivery of Cabin Cleaning services to our airline clients.
Service Delivery
Deliver Cabin Cleaning services on behalf of Star Aviation’s customers, ensuring compliance and safety regulations are always met to the highest standards.
Leads cleaning in the correct application of skills and processes.
Ensure that KPIs are met, timesheets are accurate and complete final check and sign-off ahead of client invoicing.
Undertakes briefing sessions pre- and post-shifts, recording relevant information.
Maintain Cabin Cleaning service performance standards.
Represent both the Airline and Star to the highest-level ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepares and completes each shift operational, safety, GSE and other summary reports as directly relating to services undertaken during that shift.
Liaises with Airline representatives for specific requirements that may arise from time to time.
Arranges the delivery of lost property items to Airline representatives.
Management of GSE
Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment and associated costs for repair and maintenance.
Report equipment malfunction to the Head of Ground Handling.
Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift and record results as per standard operating procedures.
Workforce Planning
Plan and manage resources to ensure operational efficiency.
Allocate and rotate staff on aircraft for cleaning and manage replacement or redeployment of team members.
Ensure team members are skilled and trained in the various disciplines.
Time sheet approval.
Manage breaks and other absences from the shift in accordance with policy.
People Management
Demonstrate appropriate leadership by leading by example.
Work as part of the team to ensure compliance with the contractual obligations.
Ensure yourself and team members act in accordance Star Aviation guidelines, policies and Code of Conduct.
Lead and drive a safety culture in the team, ensuring compliance with both the Airline, Airport and/or Star Aviation requirements.
Manage the performance of team members in line with Company policies and procedures.
Deliver training to the relevant standards ensuring staff are competent in their roles.
Essential
Prior experience leading and managing a team.
A valid Australian driver license.
Desired:
A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
A valid authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
Senior First Aid Training.
Understanding of the aviation industry
