The Role
We are seeking an experienced individual for the position of Team Leader, Criminal Law Practice Division (CLPD) Administration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supervising the Law Clerk, Regional Administrative Coordinators, and secretarial and administrative support staff within the CLPD. This role involves coordinating the efficient operation of support services for the division, managing workloads, rostering staff, maintaining Court diaries and inboxes, and providing secretarial support as needed.

Salary
$75,430 - $79,070 per annum (ASO4) plus superannuation and leave loading and access up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) savings.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Legal Services Commission is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

What You Need For Success
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- ability to be self-motivated, flexible, conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic and exercise confidence, sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential matters and difficult clients.
- experience in mentoring and providing guidance to staff and developing their skills, confidence and competence.
- experience in providing professional and timely legal administrative support services in a demanding environment including dealing with challenging clients, in a culturally appropriate manner.
- knowledge of the legal system, legal processes and protocols adhered to in a legal practice and welfare agencies in South Australia.
