Our Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program supports mature aged job seekers to build confidence and develop skills to change career or obtain a competitive edge in the local labour market. JobLab is ETC's non-accredited training program.
This is a full-time role and can be based in Port Macquarie, however regular travel will be required to our other offices across that region.
Leverage your previous experience in training to coordinate and facilitate a range of non-accredited training programs while coaching and developing your team. The program focuses on career coaching, i.e. helping customers to develop their confidence, capability and employability skills to assist them in securing ongoing, sustainable employment.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who thrives in a team environment and has demonstrable experience coaching and managing a high-performing team! This role is all about developing relationships with people from diverse backgrounds to help them find their strengths and build capability. You need a high level of emotional intelligence, sound mediation and negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport or have a conversation with anyone. A strong track-record in training delivery and administration is essential combined with the ability to mentor and coach your team to meet their objectives.
Essential experience, qualifications and skills:
- A recent, clear National Police Check
- A current Working With Children Check
- Previous experience managing a high-performing team
- Demonstrated experience in training delivery and administration
- Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel between different ETC sites
Desirable experience, qualifications and skills:
- Certificate IV in Career Development
- Experience working within Workforce Australia Services Government contract
