The Opportunity
The Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre (MAC) is seeking an appropriately qualified and suitably experienced Customer Experience Team Leader to provide the day-to-day management of the customer services area including the implementation of agreed policies, procedures, services and employee supervision. In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading the Customer Service and Liaison teams to develop a strong culture of customer service excellence and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of MAC objectives and assist with the development of a culture of quality, industry best practice and customer focus across the Centre
- Provide supervision and direction to employees within the Customer Service and Member Liaison teams
- Implement appropriate training and skills development for employees including introductory, ongoing and refresher training
- As part of the Leadership team, contribute to the development of organisational, strategic and business plans for the achievement of financial, quality management and area targets
- Maintain and update the procedures and work instructions relevant to the area on a regular basis.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Recreation, Business or an aligned area or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Relevant experience leading and motivate large staff teams
- Experience in a busy customer facing work environment
- Senior First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
- Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)
- Current Working with Children Check - Employment version
- No relevant criminal record found in a Police Check.
