The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader for our After Sales Care department located at our Store Support Centre located in Derrimut. This role will be responsible for resolving After Sales product issues and overseeing the warranty and After Sales team to deliver excellent customer service. Other key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Lead and inspire a team of 7 in the after-sales customer care department
  • Oversee day-to-day call centre operations of the Warranty and Installation team
  • Serve as a liaison between internal team members, electricians, contractors, Beacon Lighting stores, and customers, to streamline processes and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Take a hands-on approach to managing workflow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of warranty claims
  • Implement and optimize processes to enhance team productivity
  • After initial onsite training, this role will be a 50/50 hybrid role

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a call centre customer service environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong customer service ethic, taking the ‘extra steps’ to ensure customer satisfaction
  • High levels of accuracy and strong numerical skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability manage your time and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and the ability to learn in-house scheduler systems quickly
