Digital Experience and Strategy across our Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth office locations. Full-time and part-time hours are available. Digital Experience and Strategy (DES) team is part of the OFWO’s Corporate Group.The DES team centrally manage and maintain the agency’s digital advice and education channels, including , , and the agency’s virtual assistant, to ensure they are accessible, reliable and credible sources of information for our online customers.We work in partnership with business units across the organisation to deliver exceptional
Digital Experiences for our customers and stakeholders, informed by evidence, expertise and best practice.
Typical dutiesKey responsibilities of the role include:- Working with and supporting the DES leadership team to manage the ongoing refinement and evolution of online content and the Digital Experience of various online channels and services.
- Engage positively and proactively with stakeholders to deliver online content and digital solutions that meet the needs of the business and our users.
- Working collaboratively with the Team Leader cohort to manage and coordinate APS5 Adviser and team work, including delivery of projects and BAU, setting priorities, and managing workflows.
- Supporting Advisers to ensure new and existing content on our websites are developed and maintained in accordance with our content strategy, content toolkit, content governance technologies, evidence, best practice and expertise, to best meet the needs of the Australian public and the organisation.
- Assisting with strategic planning of, and taking a leadership role in, delivering projects that support the team and branch to deliver best practice solutions that meet our customers’ and the OFWO’s needs.
- Contributing to refining existing and developing new governance practices and processes and leading the implementation of these within the team.
- Monitoring and managing risk, including escalating issues as required.
Selection criteriaEssential criteria- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage a geographically dispersed team and to foster productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of content design and measuring and evaluating online user behaviour, with a commitment to delivering and maintaining customer-focused digital solutions and services.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative, solve complex problems and work under limited direction, while exercising appropriate judgment in relation to relevant policies, practices and procedures.
Desirable criteria
- Experience with GovCMS or similar content management system(s).
- A background in user experience or research and content design.
