An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Invoicing Team Leader to join a dynamic and inclusive team based in Sydney. This role offers the chance to manage end-to-end operations of the invoicing team, oversee asset-related notices, and lead a small team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to project work related to the invoicing team. What you'll do:
As an Invoicing Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the invoicing team. This includes reviewing and approving new appointment setups and deactivation's, overseeing key financial tasks, and assisting with any queries from internal teams or clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring that asset-related notices are sent accurately and in a timely manner. As a leader, you will manage staff performance, delegate workload where necessary, and support your team throughout the completion of projects. Your ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate empathy towards your team members, and commitment to achieving goals will be crucial in this role.
Review and approve new appointment setup and deactivation's
Oversee completion of key financial tasks, including aged accruals, aged debtors, unallocated funds and misallocated funds
Assist with any queries from internal teams or clients
Ensure notices are sent accurately and in a timely manner
Manage staff performance and delegate workload where required
Support the invoice team across the effective completion of the project
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Invoicing Team Leader position brings at least 3-5 year's experience working in a similar role. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills which you use effectively when interacting with both internal teams and clients. Your proven people leadership skills enable you to develop the skill set across your direct reports. You have demonstrated your ability to collaborate with internal teams to achieve goals. Your experience in actively reviewing efficiency's and improving where practical will be highly valued. Lastly, your ability to maintain strong relationships with clients will be crucial in this role.
At least 3-5 year's experience working in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven people leadership skills: developing skill set across direct reports
Ability to collaborate with internal teams to achieve goals
Experience in actively reviewing efficiency's and improving where practical
Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients
