About the role
We are currently seeking a Team Leader to ensure the safe and reliable operation of pipelines and pipeline facilities including the timely completion of all Planned and Corrective Maintenance and Repairs, Emergency Response Services, ROW Patrol and Maintenance, Routine and Non-Routine Capital (including construction as required) within a designated region for the Gas Services Team. This position will be based out of Roma, QLD.
Key Responsibilities include
- Lead a team to ensure the timely completion of all Planned and Corrective Maintenance and Repairs
- Provide and oversee Emergency Response Services, Right of Way (ROW) Patrols and Maintenance, Routine and Non-Routine Projects (including construction as required)
- Provide operational departments with reports / data insights that drive predictive analytics and agile data driven decision making
- Undertake Leadership safety walks as per schedule
- Roster 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- Assist in developing and maintaining HSEQ and operational documentation
- Drive a safety culture and implement safety processes and systems to ensure consistently safe delivery of work
- Ensure all employees and contractors are appropriately trained and competent to perform their work
About You
- Experience in Gas Transmission pipelines and facility operations and maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of Gas Transmission assets including pipelines and rotating equipment
- Trade / tertiary qualification
- Ability to handle difficult situations and prioritise workload
- Ability to understand legal and commercial project related matters and its impact
- Strong leadership skills
- A safety first attitude
