About the Role
Support Team Leader

ROC is growing and we are looking for experienced Team Leaders to manage our large pool of causal support workers.
This is a newly created role that you can make your own and path the way we manage and support our support workers.
The purpose of this role is to handle the day-to-day management of ROC support workers including roster changes, workload management and task completion along with coaching, supervision sessions and support.
You will be responsible for with staff and stakeholders (support coordinators, clinical care teams, family members and other service providers) to ensure support workers are maintaining a consistently high standard of support to our clients.
The administrative duty of this role also includes preparation and management of NIDS service agreements, submission of NDIS reportable incidents, preparing monthly reports, participant intake, letters, and assessments.
Essential requirements
- High degree of empathy and conscientiousness
- Excellent organisational skills
- Thrives in a collaborative and engaging culture
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programmes
- Minimum 1 year’s experience managing a team
- Experience working within mental health/community sector (non essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to work reliably, remain punctual and work under limited direct supervision
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver License
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain one.
- Current unrestricted Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
