The Opportunity:
The Team Leader supports the Regional Manager in managing staff and resources to achieve the successful delivery of Self-Employment Assistance across multiple sites and Employment Regions.
The Team Leader plays a critical role, with responsibility for the leadership, management and coordination of the Self-Employment Assistance contract across multiple sites and Employment Regions. They ensure that the Company’s operational, contractual and financial objectives are achieved.
The Team Leader will recruit, on-board, and train business mentors as well as work with business mentors to tailor support to achieve operational objectives. This could extend beyond the Team Leaders regions when requested by the Regional Manager.
The incumbent is required to have exceptional communication skills, conflict management and resolution and an ability to manage a demanding schedule whilst also providing leadership and direction to Business Mentors and other direct reports, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works in partnership with the Regional Manager to develop the direction and strategic and business plans for multiple Employment Regions.
- Manages the allocation of assets, people and other resources to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Recruits, on-boards, trains and coaches business mentors, working with individuals to tailor support to achieve the delivery of the operational objectives.
- Participates in leadership decisions on the direction and management of the region including setting and achieving KPIs.
What Sets You Apart:
- Proven experience in operational management
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Employment Services industry experience
- Cert IV in Employment Services; preferred not essential
- A related Tertiary qualification a distinct advantage
- High level verbal and written communication skills
