About the Position
Anglicare’s Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community connectedness.
We are looking for a Team Leader for our Home Care Workers based in Stafford. You will provide support and leadership to these dedicated staff who provide practical and emotional support to our clients by building rapport and developing relationships that enables our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes.
About You
Our Team Leaders are great at multi tasking, you will have the ability to direct client care as delegated through a care plan. Apply your knowledge of funding programs to coordinate staff activities. Oversee the day to day Home Care and Support Service workers. Coordinate staff training. Provide mentorship and leadership to this dedicated team.
What you need to apply:
- Certificate IV in Home & Community Care or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Worker or supervisory role within a Community based setting (preferred)
- Ability to assist with planning and managing client care
- A current National Police Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
