You will
Lead, guide, and inspire a top-tier support system, enriching the experiences of students, staff, and our wider community;
drive transformative university-wide projects to enhance student success and retention, leading innovative outreach efforts tailored to evolving student needs; and
foster seamless collaboration across internal and external domains, optimising our integrated service framework and relentlessly pursuing avenues for enhancement.
About you:
You're a forward-thinking leader, dedicated to enhancing our Student Centres and Integrated Service Centre with practical strategies. Your collaborative approach ensures smooth communication between service providers, keeping our information up-to-date and aligned to evolving student needs. Crafting effective outbound campaigns is your forte, driving student success and retention. You lead with a balanced blend of inspiration and support, encouraging a culture of excellence among our staff. With your tech-savvy mindset, you're always exploring new ways to improve our services and make a difference. Your evaluation skills provide valuable insights, backed by reports that resonate with senior stakeholders.
To be successful you will possess:
Demonstrated experience in student services within higher education or leadership in a dynamic client services team;
proficient understanding of the student journey and contemporary trends in tertiary education;
proven track record in managing teams in fast-paced environments, fostering a cohesive team culture, and aligning work schedules with organisational goals;
strong communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse groups and supporting students facing complex challenges;
sharp analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at prioritizing tasks and delivering effective solutions; and
advanced digital proficiency, including CRM systems, call centre technologies, and Microsoft Office suite.
