Who are we looking for?
Our Water Technology Group delivers innovative water treatment, Wastewater Treatment, water recycling and desalination projects and solutions throughout Victoria and Australia.
We're looking for a Team Leader to take their next career step and provide operational, strategic and people leadership, along with project management, business development and mentoring in a rewarding role in our Wastewater Treatment and Recycling team.
Drawing on your technical experience, qualifications, and previous experience in consulting, you will play a key role in project delivery and collaborate with industry leaders through the APAC region.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Leading a team of Process, Mechanical and Civil engineers, encouraging a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Lead all aspects of the planning, design, and implementation of Wastewater Treatment, water recycling and waste-to-energy projects
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring designs follow regulatory requirements and industry standard processes.
- Cultivate strong client relationships through regular communication, project updates, and proactive problem-solving.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Establishing the resourcing, systems and processes to deliver services to meet client expectations and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering
- 10 years of relevant consulting experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
- A track record in contributing to business development activities with water authorities, consulting partners, and contractors, with well-established personal relationships across the industry sector
- Relevant knowledge of the Water Industry, in particular water treatment, Wastewater Treatment, water recycling, waste-to-energy and/or desalination, including long-term challenges and strategy development
