About the role We are seeking a Technical Analyst (Oracle Applications) to join our Digital Services Team. The Technical Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting Essential Energy's Oracle WACS (Work and Asset Cloud Service) Application. The role is required to undertake activities that support the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of systems. This position will play a key role in supporting the business users and ensuring the required business capability can be delivered. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities; Providing outstanding customer service, and best practice approaches across managing, prioritising, and resolving IT Service Management tickets and call queues in close collaboration with several distributed teams - including (but not limited to) Service Desk, Incident Management, Integration and Reporting teams User access provisioning, user management and access audit activities as well as activities such as profile management and workflow management (as applicable) Work on items assigned as related to root cause analysis of tickets raised and owning the tasks through to completion Perform evaluation of releases and patches to understand new functionality - including supporting System Testing, UAT and provision of post-Production support Identify and address opportunities to develop and improve requirements for system and process improvements, as well as taking a lead role in testing activities and the implementation of system and process changes to ensure smooth process transitions Act as a point of contact for liaising and consulting with stakeholders including the broader A&O Applications teams ensuring that issues are resolved in an efficient manner Ensuring optimal performance of Systems, Applications and Platforms, upgrading, and configuring these platforms for optimised performance and utilisation Documenting processes, including error reports and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) About You You will have experience as an Applications/System administrator in an multi technology environment with exposure to Application support, customising and configuring various SaaS applications.. In addition, you will also have experience in the following: data and trend analysis with a proven track record in recommending application improvements based on facts the administration and maintenance of applications and systems in a SaaS set up or hosted on public/private cloud working with remote vendor teams, using vendor support portals as well as ability to communicate the voice of the customer to partners and vendors delivering excellent customer service and a passion for stakeholder management with Asset Management Systems within a utilities domain and have exposure to Structured Query Language (SQL), FME Workbench or system integration concepts and technologiesRequired Qualifications Certificate IV in Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and /or relevant qualifications Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16% Superannuation.
