About the Company
Our client has been in business 40 years and believes success has come from their continuous drive to be the leader in the design, manufacture and supply of quality products to the food industry.
With expansion in mind, they are looking for an experienced Food Ingredient Technologist to work Monday to Friday (office hours) at their Northern Beaches location with onsite parking available. This is a permanent, full time role.
About the Role
This hands-on role is pivotal within the organisation to ensure the adherence of quality and compliance and is ideally suited to someone who delights in working in a thorough and measured way, highlighting refined attention to detail abilities.
This role will see you involved in the preparation, processing and archiving of documentation as well as testing, batching and operation of lab instrumentation.
The role includes liaising with other internal departments and preparation and presentation of reports.
There is potential for growth within this role where loyalty and work ethic will be rewarded and external training courses offered to further your career.

- You are adept at working with spreadsheets and Word documents
- You have a Food Technology background
- You are able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- You are comfortable in a small team environment
- You are happy to work autonomously as well as help the team when required
- You are able to travel to the Northern Beaches each day with ease
- You like variety in your working day and you’re a keen learner
What You Will Need to Succeed
No stranger to spreadsheets, accurate documentation of testing and batching is imperative, along with your ability to present reports as needed. Experience with SAP will be highly regarded, but not essential.
Thorough training will be provided by the Technical & Production Manager which will allow you to gain the knowledge to work autonomously and make this role your own.
