Chisholm is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Project team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Technical Business Analyst will support the implementation of the Student Management System (SMS) Transformation project which has been designed to transition the Chisholm SMS from Strata to ReadyTAFE+. This will be a major transformation project for Chisholm which covers the system requirements, identifying and documenting new processes, ensuring compliance, integration of other relevant systems, training, change management and working within tight budget and timeline parameters.
The Technical Business Analyst will develop the functional and technical documentation required to integrate the SMS to all other critical systems and organisation applications. The role will involve working closely with internal Information Technology team, the Project team and the vendor to ensure alignment of the functional specifications that meet the business requirements of the system.
As a Technical Analyst , your key responsibilities include:
- Define the detailed technical and functional specifications for development work that is required to build the required integrations.
- Assist with the definition and building of reports from the new SMS for any reporting requirements from the business, including the Finance team
- Ensure all required integrations are fully documented and comply with the design and security principles set by the ITS team.
- Assist in creating test cases/scenarios and assist coordinate system testing.
- Identify any gaps in data, information or highlight any issues and/or challenges.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders as and when required to capture information required to assist and support in designing fit for purpose design specifications for integrations.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with-
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Analysis.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Azure and MuleSoft USB product suites
- Business Analysis training (and/or) certification
- Extensive Technical Business analysis skills.
- Understanding and experience with Agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Experience in using Microsoft applications, including MS Projects, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, SharePoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and determining operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions that fit business needs
