Job Description
ADM Nutrition is focused on growing the adoption of our expanding portfolio of Pancosma and Wisium Specialty Products. Pancosma and Wisium are the feed additive brands of ADM.
In addition to the Palatants, Bio-actives, and Organic Trace Mineral product ranges that Pancosma has long been known for, our portfolio today covers a wider range of products, including organic acids and yeast, which will be expanded over time with new product lines. Wisium products are now being registered and will be ready for launch this year.
Your Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to be the ANZ “Specialty Sales” Technical/Commercial Manager focusing on Ruminant Sector key accounts to grow the ADM Specialty Ingredients business.
The Manager will drive Technical Brand awareness with customers to achieve product adoption in line with the strategic sales plans and its objectives working with ANZ and Global Team.
- Act as the Sales/ Technical support functions to ADM customers on ADM Animal Nutrition Specialty ingredients when it’s about technical product related issues. As such the person is expected to have a thorough understanding of Animal Nutrition in particularly ruminants and is able to effectively communicate to customers about;
- The technical product specifics of the ADM Animal Nutrition portfolio and its main applications.
- An emphasis on Ruminant Nutrition is preferable.
- It will be beneficial to have an understanding of other monogastric species
- The unique technical and application characteristics of the AN Product Portfolio by itself and against competition.
- Support/Conduct appropriate Trial & Research activity that strengthens Brand Capabilities within regions
- The role requires frequent visits to the EXISITING & DEVELOPING customers to assist in uncovering and developing customer opportunities to support the growth of the Animal Nutrition Portfolio and opportunity pipeline.
- Opportunity to engage with Industry / Research / University
- As required to proactively identify new opportunities that need attention and to identify trends (where applicable)
- Utilize appropriate internal ADM CRM to keep comprehensive records of all work / transactions to ensure compliance.
- Work in conjunction with other departments i.e. Sales/Marketing/Logistics/Customer Service/Regulatory / Finance / Human Nutrition
- Frequent discussions with APAC VP on opportunities and Go-To-Market strategies
- Work closely with ADM APAC and Global CD&D team in Technical Support and Product & Species Management
- Attend Animal Nutrition meetings and other departments as required (In-Person/Micro-Soft Teams)
- All other tasks as directed or as required for the successful completion of the role
