SalaryWe are looking for a competent and qualified Technical Engineer - Cementing to join our team at our headquarters in Roma QLD.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Using cement engineering knowledge, chemicals for critical processes including slurry calculations
- Well design/conditions and pumping procedures according to client requirements and specifications
- Conduct testing of cementing product as per work instructions
- Prepare Cementing simulations, programs and post/end of job reports
- Provide technical input on cementing operations
- Provide assurance on the design, planning & implementation of cementing programmes and support to the Operational Teams.
- The role requires occasional field work to supervise and ensure the integrity of cementing operations.
- Provide quality assurance of all cementing programmes & verify their compliance with agreed standards, lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide Input and assist with the zonal isolations requirements for well integrity purposes during well construction, temporary & permanent abandonment
- Review and examine laboratory testing of Cement slurries ensuring they meet Company Design requirements.
- Provide direct support to WP operations including performing site witnessing of critical cement jobs against the programme.
