Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead specialist technical teams to deliver ADMS projects and initiatives.
- Provide functional and/or technical experience and insights.
- Conduct technical reviews of key documents provided by vendors, suppliers, and technical solution providers.
- Conduct technical reviews of audit plans and the contractor’s quality documentation for alignment with Endeavour Energy expectations.
- Ensure the project conforms to the overall business-wide quality and audit strategy.
- Plan and execute the ADMS project related activities in accordance with the agreed Project Plan.
- Prepare project communications to stakeholders, employees, and the wider business in line with the Project Plan.
- Provide overall detailed scope description.
- Estimate task duration and resourcing for business tasks.
- Develop and deliver status updates and communications.
- Identify and resolve/escalate issues and risks that affect scope, quality, schedule, and resources.
- Provide expert review and input into the business case.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of technical / contract specifications, inspection plans and conduct internal audit on their compliance.
- Define team member roles and expectations.
- Mentor, coach, and counsel team members to build an inclusive culture and develop high-performing teams.
- Incorporating global best practice in engineering and technical development with commercially sound business decisions.
- Engaging and influencing a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful change management outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Specialised Professional with significant experience in a similar/professional role within Energy / Electrical, or Utilities sector.
- Demonstrated experience in a power system engineer role.
- Proven business or technical work experience in one or more of the following digital grid focus areas: DMS, EMS, DERMS.
- Significant experience and ability to influence and engage stakeholders to provide innovative strategies and solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments in a matrix managed environment.
- Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organisational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing and gains clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiating.
- Ability to relate to co-workers, inspire others to participate, and mitigate conflict with others.
- Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritise and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
